"Success is what happens when 10,000 hours of preparation
meets with one moment of opportunity." - one of
our many guiding principles.
Here are some examples of how we have
worked with clients to meet their imaging needs.
- The New York Times. The travel
section editor needs of photos to illustrate
story about a remote South Dakota campground to
accompany a travel feature. Dakota Images shoots
a photo package to tell the story and transmits
photos from location. One of the largest newspapers
in the nation meets the print deadline for the travel
section - with the help of Dakota Images.
- NorthWestern Energy. One of the
largest geographic utility companies in the nation
needs photos of its linemen, customer service representatives
and engineers. Photos will be used in community
relations advertising and must have the background
digitally removed and the images color corrected
and pre-press ready in digital format. Each image
must tell what the employee does for the company,
as the ad copy will focus on their community achievements.
Dakota Images was able to travel to eight locations,
setup a portable studio for each location, photograph
the individuals digitally with minimal interruption
in their work schedule and deliver images ready
for the graphic design team of over 120 employees.
- Getty Images, Inc. Getty Images
of New York has a magazine client in need of an
environmental portrait of an individual in the healthcare
field. Photos must shot on slide film per client
request. Dakota Images was able to contact the individual,
travel to shoot location, make the requested images
and deliver the film overnight to the photo agency
- ahead of deadline.
These are a small sample of the
scenarios Dakota Images tackles on a daily basis.
Give us your scenario, your challenge, or overwhelming
circumstances and Dakota Images will help you in your
success.
Did we mention that the photos were
awesome too? Check out our portfolio.
